Welcome to Tarrawanna Soccer Club Online
In 2013 Tarrawanna Soccer Club celebrated 100 years of Football in Tarrawanna and this website is dedicated to the many volunteers, players and committee members, who together, have made the club a leading and respected football club in the Illawarra.
Much of the past club’s history records were assembled and maintained by the late Phillip Porter who, along with Ross Emerton, the pavilion at Tarrawanna Oval is named after.
Besides Phillip Porter, and many others, the name Ross Emerton (who has been a player, coach and committee person of Tarrawanna Soccer Club for over 50 years) are prominent in the club records.
This website also acknowledges the memory of the early players, officials and the Tarrawanna community who formed the original club back in 1913 and continued to operate through the hard years of two world-wars and the great-depression.
Outstanding were the ‘Croppers’ and all those involved in securing the land and building the new playing facilities at Tarrawanna Oval.
This website also serves to acknowledge all of the Life Members, Committee Members, Supporters and Sponsors of Tarrawanna Soccer Club plus the wider Community who have been, and many still are, a major factor in Tarrawanna maintaining a continuous presence in Illawarra Football (Soccer).
Tarrawanna Soccer Club Online is where you will now find all of the Club’s latest news, fixtures and results plus player profiles and match reports. We welcome your contributions, comments and suggestions.
